Life is such a complicated event, if we try to understand how all the pieces fit together (e.g., we get out of bed, stub our toe, now we’re walking with a limp – the morning has not gone well. We go to work, we’re late, due to traffic, boss is on our case for something he dropped the ball on – work day has not gone well. We go home, argue with the spouse and/or kids, about God knows what, diner is a donuts – evening has no gone well. All-in-all, it’s been a “bad day.” Then, this “little people” being (our child or pet, if no children) walks into the room, kisses us on the cheek and lets us know we are loved, and the world seems right again! It was a Great day, after all, if we appreciate what’s happened (e.g., we have a bed; we are mobile in our home; we have transportation; we have a job; we have loved ones; we have home, etc)!

Having a “Great Life” is about what we focus on, appreciate (or not), and give our energy to. It’s appreciating the fate or vibrant nuances that meet the eye, every day, that make the big picture worth looking at again and again and …! You get the picture – APPRECIATE the “GET TOs” in your life!
