By the strength of our hands we fight for our right to be respected as “a man.” We might not be able to “bust a grape,” but we will give it all we can.
Our home, our domain, our queen, our kingdom, we proclaim. As for me, with bent knees and bowed head, I praise Jesus Christ as my living King of Kings!
To “SURRENDER” is one of the toughest challenges for a physical warrior/prideful man, like us (e.g., conquerors, competitors, “self-made,” “to proud to beg” or “real man”). However, when we know the enemy (Ephesians 6:12), we know the fight is not physical. It’s not even personal, it’s “just business! Likewise, knowing that our enemy seeks to destroy us, we know the fight is “above our pay grade,” but is within our PRAISE GRADE for “upper management” intervention (e.g., calling on the chief executive officer (CEO), chief operations officer (COO), chief financial officer (CFO); b.k.a. calling on Jesus Christ, the King of Kings). Also, we know that we must submit early and often, for tomorrow may be too late. Today, SURRENDER to the King of Kings (Romans 10:9-10); the battle is not yours (2 Chronicles 20:15)! P.S, If you don’t know who owns the fence, don’t straddle it; it’s enemy territory.
