Some will only believe the worst about you, even though they have only witnessed the best in you (e.g., due to hearsay, jealousy, racism, etc). Don’t fight to prove them wrong, unless you’re looking for a full-time job. It takes work to “change” someone else’s mindset!
Live your “truth,” on purpose! Doing this one thing is more powerful than any anthology or oratory (e.g., sermon; correction, praise or blame rhetoric). Remember: “I’d rather see a sermon lived, than to hear one preached any day.”
– Signed, Proud Son (and Grandson) of A Preacher Man (In honor of my dad, my hero! He was “walking out” his sermon, long before he stepped into the pulpit to “preach it;” and to Granddad, thank you for planting and watering. Amen!)
