PART I: ABOUT THEM
What is true love, is it:
- Loving only the lovable part(s)?
- Loving the unlovable, it’s a package deal (period)?
- Knowing the unlovable and letting “them” know it is “unlovable” too?
- Working hard to change/fix the “unlovable” part(s), so that you can love all of them?
PART II: YOU
- What if you are the one with the “unlovable” part(s), would your approach be the same as above (e.g., what’s good for them is good for you)?
At the end of the day, anyone can love the lovable, that’s the easy part. It’s getting down to the “ugly” parts (of you or them), that is the challenge!
Psst: God told us to “love our neighbors,…” not just the one’s we think are lovable (Matthew 22:36-40).
… “oops there goes another rubber tree plant” (an easy way to remember to always keep “HIGH HOPES!”)
