Pyrrhic is the victory won at too high a cost.
So, how much is any “thing” worth, if love, family or friends are lost?
We fight battles of “what if,” of “almost” and “that’s too much to give.”
We fight for fear of things we could have, but did not have the courage to live.
Funny, we can’t forgive people for things they’ve never done,
But in our mind we’ve “taught them,” thoughts that never helped anyone!
Some of our greatest losses are battles that we have fought and won
Now, I’m sleeping on the couch, “I’m a genius,” but not the only one!
Now, as though I somehow know your thoughts, who am I to tell you what to think?
But somewhere in your soul you know that stinking thinking stinks!
Remember, a Pyrrhic Victory is not genius, it’s a special type of dumb!
It’s a Pyrrhic Victory when nothing’s left, but a fool will claim “I won!”
Some of our greatest victories are wars only in our mind’s stress and strife
But how we handle the mental battles and games also dictate success in life!
Life is not virtual reality but, spiritually, it’s where we live!
Choose wisely how you fight for victory, it’s your one life to give!
